The free build

We design and build a working homepage mockup before any payment. It costs you nothing and carries no obligation. If you do not proceed, the mockup is not delivered as files and remains ours. We build it free and only win when you stay. That’s the deal.

Subscriptions

All plans are rolling monthly subscriptions with £0 upfront. Local is £300 a month on Rental or £500 a month on Rent-to-Own. Regional is £1,500 a month. National starts at £2,500 a month and is by application. Prices are exclusive of VAT where VAT applies.

Payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance from your launch date. If a payment fails, we will tell you and retry. If it remains unpaid 14 days after it was due, we may pause work and, on Rental, take the website offline until the account is settled. We will always warn you before either happens.

Ownership and buyout

On Rental, we own the website, the code and the content, and you hold a licence to use it for as long as your subscription is active. You may buy the site outright at a fixed£5,000 at any time. On Rent-to-Own, £200 of each monthly payment is credited toward ownership and the site transfers to you once the balance is cleared, in approximately two years. Regional and National plans are owned by you from launch.

Your business name, logo, photographs and any material you supply remain yours on every plan. Your domain name is registered in your name, or transferred to you, so it is always yours regardless of plan.

What is included

Design, build, all page content, hosting, SSL, security, analytics setup, a batched change pass and a monthly optimisation pass. Paid advertising spend and management, social media and print or brand design are not included on any plan.

Change requests

Changes are batched into one pass per cycle: monthly on Local, fortnightly on Regional, weekly on National. Work that materially expands the site is quoted before it starts. We do not bill by the hour.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that any material you give us to publish, including text, images and logos, is accurate, is yours to use, and does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the law. You are responsible for the accuracy of claims about your own business, including prices, qualifications and regulated statements. We may decline to publish content we reasonably believe is unlawful or misleading.

Hosting and availability

We host on reputable infrastructure and aim for the site to be available at all times, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service; no host can. Where downtime is within our control we will fix it as a priority. Planned maintenance will be done at quiet times where possible.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing month. On Rental, the website is taken offline on cancellation because we host and own it. On Rent-to-Own, accrued ownership credit is retained and can be applied if you resume or buy out later. On plans you own, we transfer the site and content to you. On cancellation we will always hand over your domain name and any material you supplied.

What we do not guarantee

We do not guarantee rankings, traffic or enquiry volumes, and we will refuse any engagement that depends on such a guarantee. We do commit to the monthly optimisation pass and to reporting honestly on what moved.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Beyond that, our total liability to you in any 12 month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue or goodwill, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the subscription started.

Data protection

We handle personal data as described in our privacy policy. Where we process personal data belonging to your customers as part of running your website, we do so on your instructions as your processor.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change affects what you pay or what you own, we will give you at least one month's notice before it takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
